Willie Mitchell, Jr.

With deepest and profound sympathy, G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Mr. Willie Mitchell, Jr. who entered into rest July 6, 2026.

Mr. Mitchell was a native of Panama City, Florida. He was a Retired Veteran of the United States Army and a member of Mt. Canaan Baptist Church. He retired from Edgefield County Water and Sewer Authority. He was also a Charter Member and the first Chief of the County Line Volunteer Fire Department.

Survivors include daughters, Sandra Johnson and Sheila Biggs; sisters, Paula Cox and Barbara Mitchell; brother, Willie Junior Mitchell; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a host of other loving relatives and friends.
