It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Willie "Mickey" Murray who entered into rest January 20, 2022 at University Hospital.

Mr. Murray was a native of Aiken County and a member of Old Storm Branch Baptist Church where he served and a deacon and sang on the sanctuary and male choir.

Survivors include his wife Brenda "Sandy" Taylor Murray; adopted daughter, Sylvia Eanes; one aunt, Lucy Mae Morgan; sister-in-law, Johnnie Mae Jones; goddaughter, Yolanda (Andre) Alexander, adopted granddaughter, Angelica Harris, adopted great grandson, Chandler Grant; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 1 pm Friday, January 28, 2022 in Old Storm Branch Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Martris Mims officiating. Mask and social distancing will be observed.Viewing will be held from 2-5:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
