It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Willie A. "Snook" Knight who entered into rest June 6, 2022.

Mr. Knight , a native of Edgefield County was a 1965 graduate of W. E. Parker High School and attended North Carolina A & T State University. He was a United States Army Veteran and a member of Mt. Canaan Baptist Church where he served as a Trustee. He retired from GlaxoSmithKline Aiken Plant.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia "Pat" Williams Knight; a son, Asinia Knight; a daughter, Ayana Knight; mother-in-law, Alice Williams; three grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Mt. Canaan Baptist Church with the Rev. G. L. Brightharp officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mask and social distancing will be required. Viewing will be held from 1-6 pm Friday at the funeral. The family will receive friends at the residence from 1-6 pm until Saturday.
