It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Annie Lois Jackson who entered into rest October 27, 2021 at her residence.
Mrs. Jackson was a native of Aiken County. She graduate from Bettis Academy, South Carolina State College with a Bachelor of Science degree and matriculated further studies at Paine College. She retired from the Youth Development Center, Augusta. She was a member of Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church and a board member of the Women's Missionary Baptist Association.
Survivors include her husband, Leo Jackson, Sr.; three sons, Leo Jackson, Jr., Leopold (Terresita) Jackson and Leonard (Shenia) Hightower Jackson; a daughter, Linda Ann Jackson; a sister, Katie Hightower Singleton; three grandchildren, Khouri Ellicia Jackson, Leo Jackson, III and Nathan Isaac Jackson; a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, November 5, 2021 in Walker Memorial Park with the Rev. Chauncey A. Scott officiating. Mask and social distancing will be observed. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
