Obituary
It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Christine Johnson who entered into rest August 3, 2023.
Ms. Johnson attended North Augusta High School and was the Head Chef at S&S Cafeteria. She was a member of Spring Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Latoya D. Coping; three sons, Elliott T. (Qiana) Johnson, Tellis D. Coping and Wesley R. Johnson; three sisters, Irene Bibbs, Janie Cook and Susie Mae Lanham; two brothers, Willie (Leola) Lanham and John (Carrie) Lanham; ten grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Spring Grove Baptist Church, 1667 Womrath Road, North Augusta, SC with the Rev. Delbert Nero officiating. Interment will follow in Spring Grove Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at the funeral home.
Professional Services are under the care of G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary-North Augusta.
