Obituary
It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Debra J. Patten who entered into rest May 12, 2022.
Ms. Patten, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Andrea King of Bryans Road, MD and Khadijah Patten of Edgefield, SC; four sisters, Jeanette Thomas of Hephzibah, GA, Amelia Self, Devanna Patten both of Edgefield, SC, and Lacinda Bankins of Suitland, MD; four brothers, Jerome Patten of Hephziba, GA, Ronald (Brenda) Patten of Aiken, SC, Derwin (Helen) Patten of Capitol Heights, MD, and Roy (Corliss) Patten of Upper Marlboro, MD; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; a special companion, Willie Williams; a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, May 20, 2022 at Republican Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie Patten, Jr. officiating. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
Professional Services are under the care of G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary-Edgefield.
