It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Denise M. Merriweather who entered into rest October 16, 2021.

Survivors include her husband, Raymond Merriweather, Jr.; two daughters, Arica Ray and Annie Allsbrook; two sons, Aaron Miller and Rahmel Alexander Merriweather; mother-in-law, Lizzie Young Merriweather; five grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, October 22, 2021 in Poplar Spring Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Edward Lloyd officiating. Mask and social distancing will be observed. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
