It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Henry Mixson who entered into eternal rest Thursday, May 13, 2021 at AU Medical Center.
Survivors include three daughters, Treacy (Louis) Eiendrebeogo of Barnwell, SC, Henrietta (Thomas) Sharp of Guyton, GA, and Nina Mixson of Barnwell, SC; one son, Henry Junior Brooker of Allendale, SC; two step-sons, Ricky (Dee Dee) Cobbs of Grovetown, GA and Gregory Cobbs of Blackville, SC; two sisters, Bertha Mixson of Greer, SC and Jean Frank of Augusta, GA; three brothers, Richard Mixson of Greer, SC, Elliottt (Deloris)) Mixson of Varnville, SC, and Johnny (Mary) Mixson of Okeechobee, FL; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Southlawn Cemetery and Mausoleum. Mask and Social Distancing will be observed. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
