Horace Saxon Bush

It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Horace S. Bush who entered into rest August 25, 2023.

Mr. Bush was a native of Barnwell County. He was a United States Army Veteran. He was the owner of A&H Trucking and We Care Residential Inc. and Assisted Living Care Facility. He also raised prize cows. He was a member of Indian Grove Baptist Church.

Left to cherish  is memory are his wife of 68 years, Ethel Evans Bush;  a loving and devoted daughter, Denise Faye Bush-Mincey; a brother, Alonzo Charles Bush; nieces and nephews, Dorothy Eubanks Lewis, Horace "Cobb" Eubank, Margaret Eubanks Bradley, Stephen "Peter" Eubanks, Stephanie Bush-Baskette, Michelle Fredrick Butler and Sharon Frederick Pegues; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Friday, September 1, 2023 at Indian Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Anthony Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2-6 pm Thursday at the funeral home.

Professional Services are under the care of G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary-North Augusta.
