Janice Lawton

It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Miss Janice Lawton who entered into rest September 30, 2021.

Ms. Lawton was a 1978 graduate of Langley Bath Clearwater High School. She worked at Doctors Hospital for many years. She was a member of Trumpet in Zion Fellowship Church where she served as secretary, usher, choir member and a vital part of the Women's ministry.

Survivors include her father, Bennie Lawton, Sr.; two brothers, Earnest (JoAnn) Lawton and Garcia (Claudia) Lawton; three sisters, Delois (Hardy) Jones, Patricia Ann Lawton and Christine Glover; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, October 9, 2021 in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pastor David Kingcannon and Apostle Darryl G. McCoy, Sr., officiating. Mask and social distancing will be observed. The service will be live-streamed via the G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Facebook Page. Viewing will be held from 2-6 pm Friday at the funeral home.
