It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Jerry Butler who entered into rest July 7, 2021 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.

Jerry Butler, affectionately known as "J. B." was born January 23, 1972 to Eddie Miles Buter and the late Rosa Williams Butler.

Jerry loved sports and was an avid Clemson Tigers Fan.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosa W. Butler and his brother-in-law, Walter B. Kinard.

Those left to cherish his fond memories are his father, Eddie Miles Butler of Edgefield, SC; a sister, Bernita B. Kinard of Edgefield, SC; a brother, Eddie A. (Lotoria) Butler of North Augusta, SC; niece, Jasmine Butler; nephews, Markus Allen, Delonta Jones, and Malik Williams; aunts, Lillie Elam and Bessie Tucker; uncles, Jessie Butler and Chester Butler; great-niece, Denim Gordon; great-nephew, Jakai Johnson; a devoted friend, Larry Holloway; a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, July 12, 2021 at Simmon Ridge Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Darrell Blocker officiating. Viewing will be held from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
