It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Johnnie Jackson, III who entered into rest Tuesday, April 6, 2021.
A native of Greenwood County, Mr. Jackson is the son of Mrs. Edna Jackson and the late Johnnie Jackson, Jr.
He served in the United States Army/Army Reserves for 32 years.
Survivors include his mother, Edna Jackson of Edgefield, SC; two sons, Jamell Jackson of Edgefield, SC and Matthew Keith Jackson of Pennsylvania; one sister, Kathy Privott of Aiken, SC; two brothers, Bobby Jackson of Edgefield, SC and Glenn Jackson (Sherry) of Oklahoma; two grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Friday, April 9, 2021 at the funeral home. The family will receive guests from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the funeral home on Friday. Masks and Social Distancing will be observed. All other services will be private.
