Kenneth Bryan Jackson

It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Kenneth B. Jackson who entered into rest April 3, 2023.

Mr. Jackson, a native of Edgefield County, was 1987 graduate of Strom Thurmond High School.  He furthered his education at Louisiana Tech, graduating in 1997 with a Bachelors degree.  He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. He was also a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.

Survivors include two sons, Isaac Christian Jackson of Lithonia, GA and Kenneth Jackson, Jr. of Conyers, GA; his parents Louis, Jr. and Annie Laura Jackson of Johnston, SC; two sisters, Rhonda (Ron) Jackson-Mitchell of Powder Springs, GA and Lorie Dean of Florence, SC; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church with the Rev. Walter Butler officiating. The service will be live-streamed via the G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Facebook Page. Interment will be held at 12:00 PM Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Fort Jackson National Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
