Lawrence Dukes, Jr. Obituary

It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Lawrence L. Dukes who entered into rest September 30, 2021.

Mr. Dukes was a native of Richmond County and a 1996 graduate of Butler High School. He was baptized at an early age at Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include his children, Quiara, Lauren, Quejuan and Jalen Dukes; his mother, Virginia Henderson Butler; two grandchildren, Layla and Paris Dukes; a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 PM Friday, October 8, 2021 in Mount Olive Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Clarence Moore officiating. Mask and social distancing will be observed. Viewing will be held from 2-6 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
