Obituary
It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Lucille East who entered into rest May 10, 2023.
Ms. East, a native of Edgefield County, was member of Science Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Constance East of Aiken, SC; one son, Timothy (Katina) East of Aiken, SC; five sisters, Geneva Mance of Augusta, GA, Dorothy Holloway of Graniteville, SC; Juanita Nixon of Edgefield, SC, Mary Alice Goodwin of New Jersey, and Martha (George) Butler of Trenton, SC; two brothers, Rev., Dr. Charlie (Leatta) Johnson, Sr. of Trenton, SC and Joe Goodwin of Florida; a host of grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Science Hill Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Lorenzo Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Science Hill Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
Professional Services are under the care of G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary-Edgefield.
