Marion Waldo Obituary

It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Marion Waldo who entered into eternal rest February 26, 2021 at Self Regional Healthcare.

Marion H. Waldo, son of the late Effie Waldo Mosley was born October 5, 1956 in Edgefield County, South Carolina.

At an early age, he joined Simmon Ridge Baptist Church. He was a 1974 graduate of Strom Thurmond High School.  He attended the University of South Carolina in Columbia and Aiken, South Carolina.

In addition to his mother, Marion was preceded in death by a nephew, Deandre Morgan.

Left to cherish his memories are one brother, Michael Mosley (Bernice); one sister, Deidra Garrett (Paul, Sr.); five nephews, Fredrick Morgan, Cory Morgan, LarCarlos Morgan (Erica), Paul Garrett, Jr., and Jonathan Garrett; a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Simmon Ridge Baptist Church.  Mask and Social Distancing will be observed.  Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
