It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Martha Ann Garrett-Harges who entered into rest September 28, 2022 at her residence.
Ms. Garrett-Harges, a native of Edgefield County, was a 1981 graduate of Strom Thurmond High School. She was a Beautician.
Survivors include a son, Christopher (Krystin) Garrett; eight sisters, Rev. Cleora Gilchrist, Rev. Sarah (Oren) Robertson, Janice (Raymond) Butler, Mildred Smith, Rev. Viola (Kenneth) Jackson, Diane Smith, Rev. Barbara Garrett, and Rev. Deloris (Willie) Rapp; three brothers, Min. Willie H. (Pecola) Garrett, Jr., Charlie (Shirley) Garrett, and Grover (Maxine) Garrett; three grandchildren, Ahloni Garrett, Brayden Garrett, and Bryson Johnson; a host of other relatives and friends.
A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, October 3, 2022 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel with Minister Deloris Rapp officiating. Mask and Social Distancing will be observed.
