Mary Lee (Mance) Ryans

It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Mary Lee Mance Ryans who entered into rest January 20, 2023.

Ms. Ryans was a native of Edgefield County and attended the Public Schools graduating in 1963. She retired after 37 years from Aiken Regional Medical Center as a License Practical Nurse.

Survivors include three sons, Robert Leon Ryans, Frank Lamar Ryans and Marcellous Ryans; four sisters, Rosetta Davis, Marie (George) Glanton, Mozella Collier and Amanda Mance; two brothers, Rayford Mance, Jr., and Alexander Mance; sisters-in-law, Beverly Mance and Lucretia Mance; aunt, Juanita Curry; uncles, James Curry, Yance (Josephine) Mance  and Isaac (Margaret) Mance; five grandchildren, one great grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Friday, January 27, 2023 at Science Hill Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Lorenzo Williams officiating. Interment will be in Science Hill Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2-5:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
