Obituary
It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Nancy G. Blocker who entered into rest August 8, 2023.
Mrs. Blocker, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of the Springfield Baptist Church, Trenton.
Survivors include three daughters, Annie Pearl (Ben) McKenzie, Eliza (Oscar) Drummings, and Miriam (Talmadge) Pope; four sons, Andrew (Lena) Blocker, James (Stephanie) Blocker, John Blocker, and Thomas (Annette) Blocker; raised in the home like a son, Vydale Blocker; one sister, Jennie (Carlos) Reid; one brother, Raymond T. (Gloria) Griffin; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at Aiken Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Monday at the funeral home.
The family is receiving guests at the home of Oscar and Eliza Drummings (275 Croft Mill Rd, Aiken, SC.)
