Nathaniel Bell, Jr.

It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Nathaniel Bell, Jr. who entered into rest May 29, 2021 at University Hospital.

Mr. Bell was a native of Aiken County and a graduate of Martha Schofield High School. He retired after 58 years of service with Southern Beer Company. He sang with the Sensational Five Gospel Group. He was a member of Zion Fair Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Marie Coleman Bell; two sons, Ronald Bell and Michael A. (Beverly) Bell; two daughters, Vanessa B. Allen and Melissa M. Bell; a brother, Shawn (Deanna) Thomas: a sister, Karen (Joseph) Banks; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 12 pm Friday, June 4, 2021 in Zion Fair Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Elroy Wilson officiating. Mask and social distancing will be observed. Viewing will be held from 2-5:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
