Ollie Tarver Obituary

It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Ollie Mae Tarver who entered into rest January 8, 2022.

Mrs. Tarver was a native of Burke County was a member of Old Storm Branch Baptist Church. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Stars.

Survivors include four sons, Solomon (Clarise) Tarver, Jr., Willie Albert (Veronica) Tarver, Rev. Freddie L (Videria) Tarver and Rickey L. (Debra) Tarver; five daughters, Helen (Leroy) Brinson, Hattie M. (Jesse) Hammond, Barbara Ann Wright, Angela Denise (Steven) Thomas and Betty (Tracy) Harris; 21 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 1 pm Saturday, January 15, 2022 in Old Storm Branch Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Freddie L. Tarver officiating. Mask and social distancing will be observed. Viewing will be held from 2-5:30 pm Friday at the funeral home.
