Obituary

It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Sam Moore, Jr. who entered into rest August 3, 2023.

Mr. Moore was a native of Richmond County where he attended Lucy C. Laney High School. He was a member of Old Storm Branch Baptist Church. He worked for Boral Bricks, Inc. for 25 years.

Survivors include a son, Simon Kyle Moore of North Augusta, SC; two sisters, Betrice Moore Davis and Dianne Moore (Henry) Adams both of Augusta, GA; a special friend, Rev. Joseph (Patricia) Williams, Jr., and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Friday, August 11, 2023 at Old Storm Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Martris Mims officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 3 to 6 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
