Sarah Ann (Simpkins) Johnson

It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Sarah Ann Johnson who entered into rest October 23, 2021.

Mrs. Johnson was a native of Edgefield County and a retired Cosmetologist.

Survivors include a daughter, Latisha Johnson (Derrick Coleman) of Aiken, SC; a son, David Johnson (Kira Dozier) of Prosperity, SC; three sisters, Betty Simpkins, Bernice Simpkins both of Springfield, MA, and Brenda Simpkins of Quincy, MA; two brothers, Eddie Simpkins of Boston, MA and Ronnie Simpkins of Farmingham, MA; four grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Living Word Fellowship.  Interment will follow at Sunset Gardens Memorial Cemetery.  Viewing will be held on Wednesday from 12:00 PM until the hour of service at the church.
