Obituary
It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Tayron L. Kirkland who entered into rest May 18, 2023.
Mr. Kirkland was a sophomore at Midland Valley High School where he was a member of the basketball team.
Survivors include his parents, Teena Griffin (Brian Thomas, Sr.) and Marcus Kirkland; two sisters, Taylor Thomas and Madison Kirkland; two brothers, Brian Thomas, Jr. and Tavion Griffin; maternal grandparents, Toney and Cora Griffin; paternal grandfather, Peter Muldrow; a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Mt. Canaan Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Sunset Gardens Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
