Thomasena Hartfield Obituary

It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Thomasena B. Hartfield who entered into rest Monday, April 12, 2021.

Mrs. Hartfield was a native of McCormick County and a member of Laura Grove Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the usher's ministry.


Survivors include four daughters, Loretta (Colie) Irby, Lenora (Chester) Brighthop, Brenda Brisco and Bertha Ann Gause; two sisters, Eva Lou Griffin and Viola Hammond; a brother, Leroy Brisco, Sr.; four grandchildren, Shelby R. Jones, Colie Antwanne Irby, Shea and Paige Brighthop; three great grandchildren, Aureana Pearson, E. J. and Trenadee Jones; two great great grandchildren, Asher and Aspen Pearson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 12 pm Friday, April 16, 2021 in Laura Grove Memorial Gardens with the Rev. A. J. Saunders officiating. Mask and social distancing will be observed. Viewing will be held from 2-6 pm Thursday at the funeral home.

 

Professional Services are under the care of G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary-North Augusta.
