It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Willie George Williams who entered into rest Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at his residence.
Mr. Williams, a native of Aiken County, was the son of George Williams, Sr. and the late Willie Mae Johnson Williams.
Those left to cherish his fond memories include, his father, George Williams, Sr.; four sisters, Natalie Williams, Mamie Williams, Martha (Calvin) Hicks all of Aiken, SC, and Pamela (Christopher) Harris of Monetta, SC; five brothers, Eric (Bershell) Thomas of Washington, DC, Lenwood (Mary) Williams, George Williams, Jr., Charles Reed all of Aiken, SC, and Robert (Wonda) Williams of Graniteville, SC; a devoted companion, Angelina Jones; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Chapel. The wearing of Masks is encouraged. The service will be live-streamed via the G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Facebook Page. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
