Willist Redd Obituary

It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Willist Redd who entered into rest May 22, 2022.

Mr. Redd was a native of Aiken County and a member of Rocksville Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was a United States Army Veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Mae Bell Sims Redd; a son Willis Redd, Jr.,; two daughters, Mona Redd Flanigan and Dr. Shirlie Redd Hobbs (Dr. Calvin); a sister, Lillie Mae Redd; seven grandchildren, Dr. Nadia Flanigan (Bobby Hawkins), Nikki Flanigan, Esq.,(Jason Moore), Dr. Jason Hobbs, Jessica Hobbs-Ogilvie, Esq. (Dejaune), Joshua Hobbs, Kelli Flanigan and Sonya Flanigan; six great grandchildren, Savannah and Skylar Moore, Aidan Hobbs, Catalina Ogilvie, Maurice Upchurch and Myles Flanigan; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Mt. Canaan Baptist Church with the Rev. G. L. Brightharp officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mask and social distancing will be required. PRIVATE FAMILY VIEWING ONLY.
