Alvin Anthony Raiford's Obituary

G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Mr. Alvin A. "Bill" Raiford who entered into rest October 4, 2025.

Mr. Raiford, a native of Aiken County, was a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Jeanette Cue, Diane Allen and Deborah Tyler; sons, Ricky (Vivian) Raiford and Wallace (Elizabeth) Raiford; a sister, Mary Harris Johnson; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, October 10, 2025 at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church where the Rev. Ernie Murray is the pastor and the Rev. Sammie L. Williams eulogist. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
