Andrew Carter's Obituary

It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. Andrew Carter who entered into rest September 21, 2021 at AU Medical Center.


Mr. Carter was a native of Dublin, GA and a former member of Rice Hill Baptist Church. He was a 1979 graduate of Millville High School. He retired from Oconee EMC. After moving to Warrenville, SC, he joined Second Providence Baptist Church.


Survivors include his wife, Louise Ingram Carter; two daughters, Consuela Carter and Andrea White; a sister, Mary (Andrew) Gaston; a brother, Ike Carter, Jr.; two stepsons, Kenneth (Sabrina) Dove, Jr. and Brian Dove; one grandchild; four step-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.


Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, September 27, 2021 at Second Providence Memorial Garden. Mask and Social Distancing will be observed. Viewing will be held from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM Sunday at Dudley Funeral Home (Dublin, GA) and from 9:30 AM until 11:30 AM Monday at G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary.
