It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Brenda McLean who entered into eternal May 22, 2021 at Emory Decatur Medical Center.

Mrs. McLean was a native of Aiken County. She was baptized at Mims Grove Baptist Church at an early age. She was a 1962 graduate of Lucy C. Laney High School.

Survivors include a son, Randy (Danette) Hickson; two daughters, Chiffon Hickson and Kimberly (Amir) Lawton; two brothers, Bernard (Donna) McKie and Vernon (Angeles) McKie; two sisters, Rose Rivers and Cynthia (Darrell) McMullen; two aunts, Willie Mae Walker and Mildred McKie; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 11 am Saturday, May 29, 2021 in Mims Grove Church Cemetery with the Rev. Limuer Myers officiating. Mask and social distancing will be observed. Viewing will be held from 2-6 pm Friday at the funeral home.
