It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Brenda Sims Shedrick who entered into rest August 21, 2021 at Doctors Hospital.

Ms. Shedrick, a native of Richmond County, was 1975 graduate of T. W. Josey High School. She attended Augusta State University and was a receptionist for BioLife Plasma Services.

Survivors include a son, Jarvis R. Sims; a daughter, Sequoya L. Shedrick; her mother, Elnora Lee; a brother, Frank (Gwendolyn) Sims; five grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Old Piney Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Louis T. Coley officiating. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
