It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mr. David Settles, Jr. who entered into eternal rest Wednesday, February 8, 2021 at Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Settles; three sons, Darryl (Dr. Lisa Owens) Settles, Ervin (Tamie) Settles, and Jeffrey Alan Settles; one daughter, Rosanita Settles; three sisters, Viola Lightner, Lula Belle Johnson, and Ann (Marvin) Johnson; two brothers, Warren Settles and James (Eddie Mae) Settles; 10 Grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, Februay 13, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mask and Social Distancing will be observed. Viewing will be held from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. The service will be live-streamed via the G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Facebook Page.
