It is with deep and profound sorrow that we announce the transition of Mr. Franklin E. Gardner who entered into rest April 30, 2021.

Mr. Gardner was a 1980 graduate of Langley Bath Clearwater High School.. He attended Voorhees College and Paine College. He served in the United States Army and US Marine Corps.

Survivors include a daughter, Lakesha Webb (Eric); his parents, Eugene and Synita McKie Gardener; a brother, Christopher Leon Gardner (Ingrid/"Connie"); three sisters, Iris Simpkins (Stafford), Latrice Gardner and Karen A. Gardner; one grandchild, AnZyea Key; a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 1 pm Wednesday, May 5, 2021 in Old Storm Branch Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Michael Frazier officiating. Mask and social distancing will be observed. Viewing will be held from 2-6 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
