Freddie Oakman, Jr.'s Obituary

With heavy hearts, G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Mr. Freddie Oakman, Jr. who entered into rest February 20, 2026.

Mr. Oakman was a native of Aiken County and resided in Millbrook, Alabama.

Survivors include two daughters, Lisa (Greg) Oakman Morris and Gabrielle Oakman; three sons, Timothy (Taquilla) Oakman, Raymond Oakman and Koby Oakman; four sisters, Inez B. Sanders, Lestine Bush, Marie Oakman and Stella (Victor) Robinson; two brothers, Clifton Oakman and Joseph Williams; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, February 27, 2026 at True Testament Church of Jesus Church where Bishop Calvin Staley is the pastor and Bishop Alexander Dwight eulogist. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
