It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Gladys Raiford who entered into rest September 6, 2021 at Carlyle Senior Care of Aiken.

Survivors include seven daughters, Elvira Anthony, Carletta (Ronnie) Garvin, Kimberly Robinson, Mattie Martin, Donna Martin all of Aiken, SC, Michelle Brown of Anchorage, AK, and Linda Clinkscales-Brown of Bronx, NY; 19 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 PM Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Aiken Memorial Gardens. The wearing of masks is encouraged. The service will be live-streamed via the G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary Facebook Page. Viewing will be held from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
