It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Jeanette Johnson Lockhart who entered into rest November 22, 2021.

Mrs. Lockhart was native of Aiken and a 1967 graduate of Jefferson High School. She retired from Trinity Hospital as a Central Service Technician. She was a member of Spring Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Melvin (Lenisara) Bodison; a daughter, LaTonya D. Johnson; a brother, David (Richardean) Johnson; a sister, Mary E. Moore; four grandchildren, Terrell Malik Bodison, Nivea J. Bodison, Nadia and Trevon McCray; one aunt, Eva Mae Martin; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Spring Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Delbert Nero officiating. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
