It is with deepest sympathy that we announce the passing of Mrs. Jessica J. Walters of Hephzibah. Mrs. Walters entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at AU Medical Center-Augusta.

Those left tocherish her fond memories areher husband, Jeffrey Walters; three daughters: Sierra Simpkins, Jordin Walters, and Jada Rae Walters; two sons: Malik Rosa and Mekhi Lanham; her mother and stepfather Henry and Bernice Mealing; three sisters: Diana Thorne, Aretha (Scottie) Tarver, and Rebecca (Darius) Crawford; one brother: Zachary (Marcie) Simpkins; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Arthur Simpkins.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Sunset Memory Gardens with mask and social distance practices. Viewing will be held from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
