It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Mrs. Mattie L. Gault who entered into rest September 20, 2021 at her residence.

Mrs. Gault, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church (Edgefield.)

Survivors include a daughter, Ira Jean Washington; two sons, John (Linda) Tillman and Joseph Tillman; two sisters, Ada (Olin) Barnes and Azalee Smith; one brother, Evans (Ethel) Ramsey; a devoted friend, Juanita Smith; 20 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Bethlehem Baptist Church with the Rev. Leonard Franklin, Jr. officiating. Mask and Social Distancing will be observed. Viewing will be held from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
